To Dream...

Good heavens!..There's a nip crisp of chill in the air..like brrrrr...chill...It'll be a bit like this till about the first week of Feb..or so......with the South China wind still heaving frost from up there...I suppose most people here are delighted to feel this nippy'cool..but alas for me..I am a sunshine heat gal'...Cold bites me' bones....And so feeling a bit in the sleepy side this morning I decided to linger on in bed..

And..as I did ( linger on in bed..) I fancied myself asleep and was visited by the most fascinating dream ever... I dreamth that the motley of socks and handkerchiefs strewn about decided to walk their way back to the closets where they belong...oh' yes..all chattering lively..they held hands, clambered up the closet and deposited themselves inside the leafy green bag where I house them....

And..followed by this..I dreamth that my dog, Bushy, gave himself a shower...I heard him open the spout...heard the gush and sprinkle of h20 as well as his rubby dub dub howling...

And I dreamth that little pots of flowers and shrubs all spouted themselves up in spots where they should, just merrily prettying every corner... and when I was about to water them, they giggled and and said, "no thank you - flower fairies already gave us supper a while ago"..they were very courteous...lovely....

And I dreamth that a yellow whirlwind swooped throughout this homey'...tidying and dusting and dropping every single pot and pillow and cup and glass and bottle and knick knack where they should be....

And just when I thought the dream couldn't get any better..I turned around a corner and bumped into some sort of butler who bowed..." why your Majesty..good morning'.."....

and..and....

this is about the point......where I woke up...
