Unfashionably..Late..

I take it back............I take it back............Oh' I sooooo take it back !!!!....I am not........ThaT patient anymore!...oh' yep'.....I am sooooo discovering little cute nee' nees' about me...and waiting for late people is a nee' nee' I no longer possess!..

I am hardly ever late for an appointment you see..Not only that.....I usually arrive at least.......at least ten minutes before the scheduled time....I can't take it anymore....when I was younger..yes...but now..oh' please...no more.

No more waiting for people who agree to arrive at a specified time then show up 45 minutes late...

With the exception of my hubby and kids..if a person I am expecting doesn't show up on time..and I instinctively know that it was Not because of an emergency..then adieu!...

Being deliberately late is a national malady I am nOt a part of!.....And ( for me)there is no such thing as being "fashionably late"...

I arrive early..even for a party!

( have a happy weekend everyone..take care!!)

I am an early person... Its actually a fault I inherited from my parents. As I have gotten older I am getting better about loosening up and being closer to on time and a hair late even!(for social things... never in business!)

Have a great weekend!

hi. its roxanne.

wow. you gotta a vibrant, colourful blog. love your pics.

i hafta make a real effort to get places on time. i'm always trying to multitask and tell myself, ok just one more thing. and so it goes. i think that habitual tardiness is a passive-aggressive thing - you know, like all about exerting control over the situation? just my thoughts.

as far as waiting. i hate it. i wait 20 minutes. maybe a half hour. that's its. most everyone around here has a cell phone - so if they are running late they could USE their phone, right?

enjoy your weekend.

I like to arrive early too. When people are inordinately late, I often see that as a sign of disrespect, and my esteem for them deteriorates somewhat (only temporarily--until the same person is late again, and then my de-evaluation of them starts all over again).

Yet, I know that some people are habitually late. I always adjust for them.

I used to be late all the time, but not anymore. If I say I'll be there - I will or I'll call ahead.

I wouldn't want to keep anyone waiting.

I hate to wait...so I don't arrive anywhere early- cause then I'll have to wait :)
I hate to be late...drives me nuts-
I'm tring to be better about being on time-
but I'm usually only 5 minutes off- if I'm more than that- I call...

I wouldn't have waited an hour- I think you are a Saint :)

Funny how people's habits seem to get so well defined in this area. I was always an "exactly on time" person - leaving at the last possible minute then driving - well, I like to think of it as "efficiently..."

I'm not an early person - I hate being early. I'm not a late person - I would hate to arrive late. I'm an "on time" person. I deplore those "late arrivals" - how do they do it, why don't they just allow themselves more time!! I would never wait an hour, I would think that by that time they were never going to turn up.

oh' hello everyone!!!...ey' Roxanne..nice to see yah!!!..ah' yes..control control..that word has been in me' mind this morning!..It irks me that I had no control on whether this person would show up or not!..and' ya'..I had a cellphone..texting texting where are you?...then all of a sudden no reply...This wasn't the first time this person did this to me....

schaumi: exactly...I do the same thing..call..it's so easy to do it right?...shucks...I mean..this person could have just called me...oh' pleaase...i don't like fidgeting in a chair...sigh!

Mayden: ya hee!hee! laughed on the idea of not arriving early ( but on time) so you don't have to wait...I think I might be a little..manic about arriving early..there was a time I arrived an hour early for any appointment...

I am always trying to be early, but lately dropping kids off at school is a challenge when it comes to city traffic.
