Dreamin' Blue

The voyage of discovery lies not in finding new landscapes,
but in having new eyes."

- Marcel Proust

I'm on a hunt for blue !

Not "blues" mind you...( had some of that last night..wet stormy weather... you know...) but blue...as in the color blue. Never quite thought of myself as a blue person....I'm more like creams and subtle browns and faded rosey red...ye'..that's me....well...I think so...could be wrong....

Now why on earth am I talking about blues you may ask...or not really....

N'ways....been a month since the family moved in and believe me this twitter place still needs a whole deal of getting dressed. The sofa for one needs to be reupholstered and the walls need a bear hug of fresh art work.

I was thinking of...um'...(looking down at nails here) making my own...."art work"...

Yiiikes!....gulp'..gulp to this...would I dare?!...

Maybe it's just safer to buy new paintings...

Wouldn't be all that fun though...

Main thing is..

I'm having a paralysis of analysis in doing this homey...Color motif confused you can say. I don't want to risk fessing up....I miss the ol' terrace enough so I want this place to have it's own distinct"personality"... withoooout having to shell a fortune....

I want it to have the "character" fun and cool and breeze and relaxing...and unwinding....and comfort..and safety...

More importantly, I want it to reflect the color of me blending into the hue of my family...

So what color am I then?...been asking...

The universe, I think, has whispered....

Color speaks...

Visiting the following awesome bloggies' has got me....

dreaming ov' blues.....blues...blues

Oh' please.....allow me then to share the blues with you

Hi Lady Luxie :)

I`m not a blue person either. But then I bought some fabulous indigo teal blue toile and just had to use it on a couple of old chairs. Have a great week!

I am a blue person, and yet have little of it in my home. However, this home was our business investment, and it is done in Japanese Maple, Sable Brown, Atlantic Sand....you get the idea. Calming earth tones. But! When I move, which will be soon, I am so getting an aqua room! With ceramic vases, palms, and comfy clean lined furniture. Some teak. Some smelly candles.
I like your ideas!
Thanks for visiting my blog Luxie girl, I always enjoy my visits here!
