Mabuhay! ( Long Live! )

A Return to Love, by Marianne Williamson...

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Thank you, and the same to you.

I believe the meaning of life is to have close encounters of that divine thing inside. But I don't believe in an almighty God that can help us in our daily life.

We have no one to blame but ourselves and the facts of life.

I loved this post lux!

I really live in fear that I am meant to do so much more with my life than I am doing... not that I will be judged by anyone for that... no one but me that is. That there is a purpose and calling that I havent achieved yet looming there waiting for me to hear it calling out to me. idk

You wrote,"And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same" I think your post is doing that right now!

Have a great week Lux! xo

A Return to Love - that paragraph is one of my favorites and I've had it hanging on my wall for years now! I am a child of God and I am made to manifest the glory of God in every action, thought and word. No fear!

Let's let our lights shine beautifully and with hope and peace toward all others and ourselves!

Hello Luxie, That was an absolutely beautiful post! Thank you for sharing! I too believe that we should be who we are and not fear the positive within us, but instead embrace it. Once we get past the fear of what others may think of us, we can then bring out our unique gifts from within and realize our true purpose in life. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Easter.
