Simply Lux went Beta Gugu..

I've only had about two hours of sleep but surprisingly feel alert. The first session of the training I conducted is over. I survived it. My first..very first corporate training session.

Everything is bloody tough. It is so much different from classroom lecturing..I had to perform..I had to make them smile..and laugh and accept my presence. Pressure.

In a rate of 1 to 10....ten being the highest..9 gave me a 10...11 gave me a 9 and the rest of the participants gave me an 8...

For the overall session only 1 gave a rate of 7 saying there wasn't too much time for interaction...I was given only 4 hours...and another 4 hours with a different topic this coming Monday....I still have to prep up my materials for that.

I am my most deepest critic..I can cleary see and define areas where I fessed up..I have taken account of my style...my material..and every nitty gritty aspect of the seminar..from pre production to the actual performance.

I have much to improve on...but...I can safely assume that for a first time corporate trainor..I pulled off safe.....with an acceptable grade. Now, the greatest challenge for me would be Monday..when I meet the Japanese President and ...shucks..I hope he dosen't watch. But the training director will be there...My performance on Monday will seal whether another contract will eventually be signed for the engineering department.

I'm still binded to my teaching job however.....but have given notice that they should scout for a replacement. It ws good that I didn't sign a contract with them. I made out my own contract as an outsourced instructor when I started last June and had to remind the admin of what was stipulated there. However, Iwill not leave the children hanging. I will fulfill my heart's contract and keep on till March.

Everything is exciting but very taxing...pressuring and stressful. However, when I saw the module I wrote compiled and distributed to the participants..and my name flashed on the LCD projector...I felt a swell of pride. A satisfied sense of pride that I accomplished something...I am tired but not not weary...and I can sense a change in me. ..

I hope to build this up..and all the other plans I have for next year. A co teacher and I are planning to set up a school by next year. I will be meeting with her and another person next week. A Canadian investor will fund the school. I will conduct the feasibility study, conceptualize...formulate the methodology and set the overall culture of the school environment.

I also intend to craft exotic necklaces and trinkets and soft market through corporate channels. I am studying designs and concepts. The tag of my hand crafted products will be "Simply Lux"... I would have to metion my thanks to the dear K9 for the artwork...I will be using his version of the "yellow whirlwind me" as a banner tag for my products.....thank you...the dots do connect..everything has a purpose..even a sketch from someone so far away....thank you...Simply Lux and it's whirlwind face will have a commercial value....If all goes boom..maybe I can export...hah!..what a dream..but then again who knows?....

This is interesting. How magical it is to have to say that I am doing all these......

It was just a thought before..all these plans....And now they have materialized. Every single desire I have...my secret intents....appear before me.....it's fascinating....and scary at the same time.

Almost as if like magic.....magic dreams..magic moments..and magic sights....

And speaking of magical sights....

I saw these circle of fish in a beautiful Zen pond at Ayala Center. I was with my husband that time...We were standing in front of the pond when suddenly the fishies started to swim towards us.

Suddenly, In a trancelike motion they started to swim in circles..right in front of us.....like a celebratory dance...

...My husband asked me what I thought the fishies were doing.... I smled.....In my mind I answered....fish swim toward light..they are celebrating light....

Dots connect..and fish swim in concentric circles....Those are my thoughts for today....

Ah'..I have to get back to the technical writing once again...Blessings to you all..and remember..the dots connect....

with love,

Simply Lux

wow, lux
look at all you've accomplished...
and your dreams of creating jewelry.
i'm impressed.
i know you are excited and are running on adrenaline with 2 hours of sleep. sometimes adrenaline get really help us through situations. i know because i've taught that way plenty of times. but ya gots to try to get some sleep for your other workshops/presentations. if i lack too much sleep eventually i misspeak..

before i switched to beta i had actually developed a different blog and played around with it, so when i did make the switch certain things didn't come as a surprise.
it's real easy to add links through beta actually.
you just need to go to 'customize' your blog, well, i need to be back with that infor..don't know all the correct names by heart and i haven't had my cuppa joe yet.
beta's kind of fun once you get used to it....you'll see.

Lux, it sounds as though you will have little time for blogging in the near future. I don't know how you'll fit everything in, but the best of luck to you.
