The Taller They Are..

This is how tall I am Kate LOL!!! Oh, I hope you drop by to see this! Yes..yes...I'm about 5 feet two..My Hubz' towers big time over me in reality...hee!hee!...And the kids..well..maybe it's something in their food which makes them sprout above me...he!he!

I took this last week. It was a sad but relief laden day for me. Sad because I bid my final farewell to my advisory class. There they are -the first year high school kids.

I regret that I cannot be with them..see them graduate as I did with the other children who grew up under my wings. I think Kryzean ( boy beside me) is the saddest of them all...I will miss him. I have been trying to talk to him..reach out..he is such an introvert but I feel such a delight when he tries to speak in English the way I teach him to. His reading has improved..he smiles now..I was trying to find how he was adjusting to life with his American step dad..I'm afraid I won't be able to follow up on our talk..sigh!

I plan to visit next week. Maybe give them something...I can't think of anything specific right now because I'm still swamped with everything I need to finish for Saturday's training. Oh, I just want to finish up everything I'm working on right now so I can just be still..I long to be still...for my mind to quiet and my emotions to settle. Everything is just so....

Anyway...I don't want this bloggy' to be an emotional burden of sorts..I have a journal for pouring scalding thoughts...I want this to be delight..a lighted place for me to visit...

I miss everyone..heck..I even miss me!

ps: u' can click on the pic to have a clearer view...Do you notice anything Schaumi and Mayden?..hee! hee!:->

I think your students are about my twins age... 11-12? Is that correct?

Does this mean you are on holiday for 3 months now!?!?!?!?!?

You have on glasses! Ok- ok...I am going to post a pic in mine too! I've needed glasses or contacts since I was 8 years old.

The other day- someone dear to me said, "I like a woman with glasses- a mom type of woman"...

I love it. I love this pic. I'm just barely 5'1-
but you are skinnier! Oh...
I'll ever be the chunky babe...it's ok. People still love me :)

Love and hugs to you! :)

I dunno. A woman in glasses isn't a mom type to me, but rather a librarian type. I like librarian types, so I make passes at women who wear glasses.

Lux, my mom is your height, and I'm a good thirteen inches taller than she. When she introduces me to her friends, the female ones usually flinch and say "ouch" to themselves.

Schaumi: I really wish I were taller..sigh..he!he!

Awareness: I do so need one...thank you!

XDell: I think it would be cool to be a librarian..gosh..all those books...I like the smell of books..when I open a page the fisrt thing I do is sniff on it...weird...
