Hannelie and Me'

"Thoughts"

My darling friend Hannelie (whose home can be reached via the link above) is playing a little game and I am "it." She gave me a few interesting questions which I am supposed to answer. If anybody wants to join in, all you have to do is tell me so and I will think up my own interesting questions for you.

Meantime, here are the answers to your questions Hann...some of which seriously took me time to think through...

Hann: Luxie doo'..what are you most proud of and..why :>

Luxie: ( doo')...Hmmmmm' ( long thought)

Never been asked this before...

I can think of a dozen things I am not proud ov'......but something to be proud ov' well...
Should it be about me?!..

Can I say I'm proud of my hubbzy for clinching that deal and being the person that he is....

or the kiddo'z because in spite of the state of calamity of their room, they are good boys who don't get into embarrassing trouble?!....

If it's about me...then...I am proud of um'..being not proud....

I talk to anybody whether he is shabbily dressed or in designer fashion, and I honor everyone of whatever color or religious creed.......

What I mean is..I don't think of myself as above or below anybody.....I look at people as true brothers and sisters....

I am proud that I am this way because being where I am, it is much easier to flow with the status quo and reign judgmental.

Hann: Luxie doo'...what would you want to achieve in your life?

Luxie doo': ( thoughtful)

I can enumerate a list of the things I want to achieve....recognition...being a famous trainor...being well respected in the industry I am in......the literature school in my mind...to publish a book for children.....for women....

to travel all over Asia particularly to anime country Japan..to see Nottinghill...Soho..Paris..Spain...Brazil...Rome....Tuscany...(oh' Tuscany...Tuscany I am in love with you!!!)..Kenya....the New York Library...Savannah Georgia....New England....Australia ( and have a bbq with Hann!!)...

ooooh'...just too many things I want to achieve...

but nothing compared to the thought that when I leave this world..someday..I would leave with the thought that though I had my faults...still I was an essence of inspiration to those who knew me...and that I leave knowing who I truly am....the "me" encased inside this physical body...

Hann: Luxie doo'..what was your favorite toy as a child?

Luxie doo: ......a ( toy ) machine gun........didn't play with dolls...

Hann: Luxie doo'...If you live your life over, would you do everything the same?

Luxie doo': No!...

I'd want to be with the same hubby and kids no question about that... ...but as to the rest of what I did and who I am..... no....

As a child, I would have believed in myself more...enough to have been the highest in my class instead of thinking I can't do math..or that they're all better than I am.....

I would have taken more chances...When my books were thrown away and my stories ripped to pieces...I should have had the courage to gather them back, and the torn pages pieced painstakingly together again.....

I would have loved better.....kissed harder and learned how to say I'm sorry without feeling like I would die....

Hann: Luxie doo'..what is your favorite holiday?

Luxie: Christmas and New Year's Eve...most definitely!!..

These seasons are messengers of hope and love..and family..and friends...and peace....

And so there....Thank you Hannelie for these questions....I had a wonderful time thinking them through....

You are a beautiful lady, and I am so happy to know you.

I was a reader as a child. And I still am.

If you want you can ask me questions....

Those are very thoughtful answers. I particularly relate to the answer of not having much faith in one self, but I guess that comes with age, and perhaps the knowledge that it really doesn't matter what others think of you as long as you are true to yourself.

Hello m'dear :) Christmas/New Year's Eve are my favorite holidays too. Especially noche buena :) Best reason to pig out! In my family, those 2 nights are the most important as they have been the only nights recently that we are altogether. I look forward to it all the time :)
