The Nusa Dua Pics..( for editing)

Nusa Dua

CLICK ON THE ABOVE PIC....

(
This is my third try in posting this..hu! hu! hu!..I will be back later to write my thoughts..meanwhile here are the pics...I hope!)

Back from the mall...again...Things have settled back to a bit of the ordinary.... though my ordinary will be anything but too ordinary from the ordinary days of what ordinarily happens to me.

I was a bit um' bitchy" ( excuse the word..but there is no alternative term to describe how I was soo..) this morning.....just thinking of something rather inconvenient I have to do in a short while. This clearly shows me that there is something out of sync with the inner me...I know I have been lax in exercising or meditating....Though the happy spur of the moment was there last week..to be remembered and treasured..I have to look to now and have faith that even the inky' winky irritants will be smoothened straight.

So for a brief moment, let me travel back.

It was a Friday evening almost eight.

Putting in the last word to a post down, hubz texted me to get dressed real nice...like little black dress nice. He advised the kids to do the same. There was a something SoMething to celebrate and he was in high mood....After picking us up, he drove straight to the Serendra High Street where we walked to Thai @ Silk...a fine dine place catering to..well..Thai cuisine.

I clearly remember that in a post down, I was hankering for something tangy to the taste..and while sipping the hot ( in every sense of the word) Tom Yum...I briefly recalled this wish with sweetness in my heart...Law of Attraction perhaps?...

Dinner was amazing..the kids too were soaked into the ambiance of the place, and everything was fun pleasant. Suddenly my eldest asks me..."Mom..could that be ___ on the next table..or am I seeing things?"..Looking to where he was indicating..I saw her...Why, it was the (ex) First Lady Imelda Romualdez Marcos, wife of the late dic...I mean president of the Philippines Ferdinand Marcos!....

Sans personal political opinion, I must say the Madame was a sight to behold...regal in bearing and truly beautiful in her distinctive style of a black dress with matching tasteful jewelry ...I was mesmerized. I wasn't able to get a glimpse of her shoes though
tsk!

After dinner we walked to Krispy Kreeme for dough nuts and coffee. While munching the nuts...we saw prima ballerina Sofia Zobel...I was wondering if she would possibly pirouette or glide....no such luck...She only stood there giggling and chatting with friends...

I guess far more than the food was the array of fancy European vehicles on display which the men of my household fully and shamelessly oggled at....Porsche (s), Benz (s), Ferrari (s), Lambo...Lamborg...Lamborgini ( dwats'..however that is spelled!)..and some other shimmering wonders...goodness knows who can afford them.....but obviously there are quite a number who do....I had shoes and chocolates in mind while they admired the "real cars" as they say...

I'm just sorry I forgot my camera that evening....never mind..I'm sure to be back one of these days anyway...And though I can say only so much in this post...everything is printed in my mind...the summer breeze...the grass...the lights..the fountains..the food...

Sunday was fun as well. A family reunion thing was held at the leisure farm, and the whole clubhouse with its amenities and pool was reserved for us all. My SIL prepared games..the pool game was won by my team...the quiz bee something well I won that! hee!hee!...

Late in the afternoon while floating in the bubble pool..I remembered wishing for the presence of nature a post down...and once again it occurred to me...that quite unexpectedly...that wish came true as well...

Law of Attraction?......

Right now, it's almost 2 pm..I'm attracting hooohum'.. a wEE' bit of nippity nap'......

Fascinating,. You saw Imelda Marcos in the flesh, and didn't even comment on what kind of shoes she had on.

I'm curious as to why your son changed his language in mid-sentence. Is it taboo to talk about Marcos over there?

You could have probably found a picture of the ballerina on the Internet and posted it. But I understand. Having the camera, and taking the picture yourself would also indicate that you were there. Then again, I would actually pay (not a lot, but some) to see a ballerina at a Krispy Kreame.

Not really...anyoe can basically say anything..just that..there might be Filipino friends reading this blog who have high sentiments for calling Marcos a dictator...

I experienced one time being in a conversation and assuming that everyone thought the late president was such, I went on just blabbering..

Good thing I caught on the hint that the person I was conversing with was a staunch supporter of the former first family...dum' dee' dum' dum' to meee...

Oh' but she was pretty..and her body guards were quite a lot..just cool outside the restau...

I was thinking of whether i could go say hi...but hubz' pointed out the bodyguards...He was right..They wouldn't allow just anybody to walk up to her...

besides I'm a wee' shy to do that..
