Tis' That Kind ov' Day

It's a coooold brrrrr drippy windy wet huggy feeling rainy time here where I am. The kind of weather that makes me feel like curling up on a wide comfy snuggly feather fluff sofa reading a favorite book...or make that instead of a book...holding on to a laptop computer watching "The Notebook" ( happens to be what I was precisely doing an hour ago)...

Yep'..

Tis' the kind of weather that makes me feel like sipping hot Swiss Miss Cocoa with floating tiny bubbly blue and pink marshmallows...or if I haven't got mallows or chocolate for that matter (like right now), then I settle for a strong brew of steaming coffee...the good kind mind you...the one that wafts its fresh ground cinammony scent all throughout the house and out onto the next door neighbors front yard and in through their open window...The wind 'll take care of that...

And you know....tis' the kind of chilly weather that makes me want to hide under thick velvety covers with a favorite someone (ahem)...Toe rubbing against toe creates...um'...solar energy (?) nuff' to stave off the cold...Fun game too to find out whose toe is smarter...( uhuh'.....smarts are a must to beat someone elses bigger toe in a toe wrestling match..)...

Lastly, tis the kind of weather that invites me to watch the rain from my window....just gaze at the gazillion raindrops...focus on one and ride it till it drops and splashes with its brother and sister raindroplets creating a big blog of a puddle wide enough to make me wanna' float a paper boat....

Know what?....

I think it's okay not to be doing anything sometimes...'xept...just watching the rain...
