Am baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!!
Sniffling and sneezing in bits but back nonetheless:>

Oh' it was terrible....just absolutely horrible to have been kept smacked down in bed feeling your body wage a total revolt...shucks...I was talking to it... asking it what the matter was...trying to reassure it that Luxie doo' do promises to take vitamins and to exercise and drink water and cut down on this and that..oh' if only you would please heal..like now.
I was adamant to get better...I had a girlie' get together scheduled for last Saturday. Four silly high school girlfriends who love singing and have taken me in as a major "contract artist" ( he! he! he!) ...would have been so let down had I not made it to the Red Box Karaoke bar.. Well, made it I did. And since that Saturday, I slowly felt me getting stronger.
Hubz and I even managed to do quite a huge chunk of shopping yesterday. We're sort ov' interior renovating and have decided on a clean Asian themed home... teak and minimalist.. a bit of Bali inspiration. I must not forget chimes.....uuuuuuu...didn't pick that up yesterday...
It's going to be an exciting December...we kicked it off with a new car...and will end it with a family trip to Singapore...My month will be thinking of nothing else but home...no work for me...just home....Am' happy.

I'm so glas you're feeling better, luxie doo..:) the crude (that's what we call it here) can be a real bummer. starting a shopping spree by purchasing a car? lol...
ps: december is the only month i feel like staying home and being homey...
but, instead it just gets friggin busy with work and other obligations.

I am getting ready to head north for a bit to visit with family too. No new car though... perhaps if hubby gets this new job... lol

So glad you're better, Luxie! Isn't karaoke the best medicine? That Bali look is one of my absolute faves! Right now I'm more British Colonial, but once the kids are grown and gone, I see myself in a lofty-type space with very spare, yet earthy, decor...oversized urns and art and potted orchids. That type of thing! Heck, I may do it before then! Be sure to share your photos!

and i love singing!! my gosh, i bet that's what got you back on track...nothing like getting out of your sick bed and going to do something you enjoy so your brain finally realizes that it HAS to get well again because it HAS to feel this happy again...
