My Inspiration

She's right. I realized something. Mostly I focus on people. Can't be helped I suppose. Too much responsibilities...too many things going on. Sometimes it just takes someones thoughts to remind you of what you supposedly know already.

I'm heeding her advice...wise and sensitive. One minute...one minute to think of what I love...I know "who" I love already...but "what" I love is, admittedly, not something I would give conscious thought on. And since I am of the Year of the Monkey, and am' probably sweetly cursed with a swinging monkey mind...then let me allow myself to think...think of what it truly is I love.....One minute....

1. The scent of cinnamon - in my body, in my coffee, in my chocolate drink...
2. Painting fields and flowers and dreams...
3. Lacey lingerie...
4. Burying my toes under warm powdery soft sand....
5. Watching fish swim and circle around my legs..
6. Breeze from the sea caressing my hair...
7. Whisper of ocean waves...
8. All colors...
9. Faint smell of burning leaves....
10. soft brown...and creams..
11. leather notebooks...
12. scent of leather...
13. sports cars...
14. green mango juice....
15. blue jeans..
16. laughter of children.....
17. writing stories...
18. listening to old music...
19. seating in a quiet corner with a friend...over coffee..
20. reading alone...
21. lakes..
22. pathways....

That was one minute of rambling on...inspired by evenstar-art.blogspot.com

Those are very nice things. I like them. I don't know if I could love them, though. I tend to be rough on things.

Enjoyed reading your list and thank you for the reminder to remember the things we truly love. Funny how they're usually pretty simple things that give us the most pleasure, aren't they?
