A Diary Post

( for editing....I will write after I fix up my room...and have lunch...and give Bushy' his lunch.....I am still having lunch Mr. Gary...then another cup of coffee...or maybe not...a coke?..hmmm...now watching Bridget Jones Part 2...I'l have to write tomorrow...)

And that tomorrow is a tonight at 7:20 pm..Luxie time...wasn't expecting this to take so long but as life would have it, my hours were drowned in sweet chores I am relishing true to heart... because I know that the coming weeks will be wave after wave of projects...And I love that I have this present..this gift of moment... in my home to walk through what it means to be a woman with a hearth...And I loved just folding the clothes and pressing hot iron on them...I love not having someone do it for me...Oh' it has been so long since I have placed soul in no other place but my home..no clients...no demands..nobody to instruct...I am here...

and I have never felt more of a woman than now...

and so time floated by..and this space remained void of presence for a day and so...but the leather book I hide inside my drawer keeps the secret yearnings of my inner me....a repository of unpoured wishes.....a whisper to the wind that nobody else can hear...nobody else...

except....that dear diary..

i love to see the journals of other artists--it reminds me that we're all connected in some way by the form of our expressions, though they vary. it's amazing to think of what a great collection it would be if somehow all of those ramblings and sketchings and doodlings could all be captured somewhere--very cool.

best to you!

Thats such a pretty journal too!

I start them and am pretty good then lose interest. Blogging has taken over that roll for me. Good and bad... I dont really talk about all of my inner thoughts... but it helps.

Like Hliza I fear people reading it (like my kids when I am dead... lol) and feeling bad about things. Perhaps that is the real reason I dont write more. I have kept a journal through times I need to do so... when the kids were babies and the last few months of my Moms life. I thought those were bits that I owed my family to keep in writen form... but for the daily things, I think perhaps I would rather not have that down. Not now at least.

I don't have a journal, but I do have a Photo album. It is very important to me.

I recently began a project to digitally archive all of my old written journals--it's pretty fascinating as I go back through to see where I've been--I think it shows me more of who I am. Sometimes neat, sometimes scary. :-)
