Zee' Audacity in Me...ye'

Instead I went to Les Immortelles with a sketch pad and pencils, though my fingers were clumsy, I could not draw. I waited - for what - for whom - I did not know.

-{ Mado of Coastliners by J. Harrisp.120 }

Oh' my head is aching.....and I feel just as Mado does..like not knowing what to do...a trifle sense of disconcertion.......And if Mado, this character from the book I am reading, is in front of a beach with a sketch pad sans inspiration to draw - then here I am identifying with the sense of not knowing what to do next...even if there are things to be done.

It must be the weather..cloudy..dark...interspersed with battles of rain..then a teasing peeping sunlight..which has left me drained of any energy whatsoever to keep things in order in my home....My plates remain unwashed....just sulking in the sink..my forks and spoons crying out whatever have they done to be left ignored since 7 am today...wanting to be deposited into their cozy cabinet...clean shirts just strewn nonchalantly on me' bed gasping to be folded....

and me..just here..

having this cup of coffee which I hope would revive my senses from the doldrums I have slumped in....

My energy has taken leave.....

my body a sack of pain...

my mind a wisp of mist.....

I wonder if a pill would set me straight...

Oh' but I have been thinking lots inspite of how I feel..yes...While just lazying flat out in my bed moments ago...I was thinking that I might have the audacity to call myself an ArTist of some sort...I don't know what kind....certainly no master...certainly not as capable or grandiose as the ones I've seen in excellent bloggy posts...but..I figure..why not be an artist?...a silent vow to always surround myself with everything that is beautiful...which includes....... words..and thoughts....

And the chirpy brown birdies probably with their tap tapping on me' windowsill agreed...

So..I..Luxie dee' doo'..have come to the concusion that I am an artist..ye'..of...um'...SoMe soRt.....I will NoT be a lazy artist..infact my hands, small but strong from work, will not be without anything to do... Everything that my hands touch will be with craft...exciting!..exciting!

Let me see...there's photography..poetry writing.....collecting....doodle paintings...and I think maybe scrapbooking and collaging.....ye'...oh' cooking..keeping house..writing stories..writing manuals for clients...(?)..

But I think right now..inspite of how I feel..I really must wash this cup...along with the sink sobbing plates..(oh' yes I can hear them)...Bushy needs a drink...and I have to start..finally really start checking these papers.....

Me' hands will do all these....Am I thankful for me' hands....ye'

PS:
a. and here it is again..the dreaded space down below...

b. Tea and Margaritas..if you cruise by..I want to let you know that I can't..can't logon to your blog...can't read anything but your pofile....

c. jolly..jolly..me' Hubzy just called and will take me out to dinner...yeehah!

d. but I still have to wash these plates....I guess...

it's art if you make it art. anything you create that you take pride in can be your art.

love the stream-of-consciousness style here--it's nice to just ramble over someone else's random thoughts sometimes when we're looking to escape the random rambling of my own. :-)

thanks for your comments on my blog. i thought what you said about the bacteria being not unlike humans interesting--it's basically the thought that had struck me, too!

Happy Thursday.

Lady Luxie,

I am awake and alive now--post sleepblogging and glad to have found you...

...never doubt if you are an artist. You are--and the fact that you doubt means you are the real thing...

BTW I LOVE French Vanilla Coffee too

Cheers,

"Sigh"...
It's been a hard day-
with someone I care about so far away~
Wish I could do more...
Makes me sad that I can't fix everything with a smile and a prayer~

Hugs friend- I wish you health, and love, and lots of clean dishes.
Mine need to be washed too- I keep putting it off.

I think artists are the most interesting people in the world.

Lux, there's often an artistry in washing dishes. And that's active.

Still in Cincy, but I wanted to let you know I'm still thinking of you.

Schaumi: I ca also create a mess...which is what I have here right now...milk all over the table...sigh!..how are you doing?...

Emily: Welcome!..How lovely what you said...anything I create that I can take pride of is art..I shall most certainly remember that!:>
